![]() My problem: The shortcut is removed from OneDrive online but remains in my synced (local) OneDrive folder. ![]() If you want to delete them, just open File Explorer and delete all files located in C:\Users\account_name\OneDrive\. I decided I didn't want to have a link to the shared folder in my OneDrive so I right clicked the synced linked folder and clicked 'Remove Shortcut' - the OneDrive sync client notified me that it was removing the shortcut. Enter the same email address that the user used to sign into Windows (try aliasdomain and domainalias forms). Start menu - OneDrive, you should see the Set up OneDrive screen (if not unlink/stop syncing any business accounts and start over). However, all your previous OneDrive files will remain on this PC. Shut down any running OneDrive.exe processes (verify in the Task Manager Details tab - Ctrl Shift Esc). Now you’ve successfully unlinked OneDrive from your current Microsoft account, and Windows 10 will no longer sync your OneDrive files. Click the Account tab at the top, and then click the Unlink this PC link.Ī pop-up dialog box will open for the confirmation if you want to unlink account on this PC. Select Help
